Television star Arjun Bijlani has paid an emotional tribute to his late father-in-law, Rakesh Chandra Swami. He vowed to take care of his wife Neha and son Ayaan after the sudden loss.

Television star Arjun Bijlani has shown immense strength and love for his family during deeply emotional time. His father-in-law, Rakesh Chandra Swami, passed away on January 1. Arjun, who is married to Neha Swami, took to social media to pay tribute and made a promise to his wife and son, Ayaan.

In an Instagram post, Arjun wrote, “Om Shanti Papa!! Your words of wisdom and advice will always stay with us. I will take full care of Neha and Ayaan, don’t worry. Love you always!! Sri Rakesh Chandra Swami !! 1956 – 2026 #omshanti”.
He also shared throwback pictures with his late father-in-law cherishing the memories and guidance he received over the years.
The prayer meet for Rakesh Chandra Swami saw several TV industry celebrities come together to pay their respects. Ravie Dubey, Ankita Lokhande, Kanika Mann, Mouni Roy, and Nia Sharma among others were present to console the family.
Arjun was seen comforting his young son Ayaan during the funeral proceedings.
The family’s grief came shortly after a New Year celebration in Dubai. Arjun, Neha, and Ayaan had gone abroad to welcome 2026. But the trip took a sudden turn when Neha’s father’s health worsened. They rushed back to India only to face the heartbreaking reality of his passing.
Rakesh Chandra Swami, 73, passed away following a brief but critical battle in the ICU. He is survived by his daughter, Neha, and son, Nishank.
